What Orbit Shram Shakti, Orbit Pravin and Orbit Sahyog is

Orbit Shram Shakti, Orbit Pravin and Orbit Sahyog introduces people looking for work to businesses looking to hire. We are an introduction service. We are not your employer, we are not a party to any engagement you agree, and we do not pay wages, deduct statutory contributions, or supervise work.

Anything agreed between a worker or professional and an employer - pay, hours, site, notice, safety, statutory dues - is between them. We are not responsible for it and cannot settle a dispute about it, though you may tell us about conduct on the service and we will act on it.

Your account

• One account per mobile number. It is yours; do not let anyone else use it.
• You must be 18 or older to register.
• Sign-in is by one-time code to your mobile. Anyone holding your phone can sign in, so keep it safe.
• The information you put in your profile must be true. Claiming a skill, a qualification or an identity that is not yours is grounds for removal.

If you are hiring

• You must be a real business or an individual genuinely hiring, and the details you register - PAN, GSTIN, company identity - must be your own.
• Contact details of workers and professionals are shown to you to make contact about work. Using them for anything else, selling them, or passing them on, ends your access.
• You must not advertise work that does not exist, charge anyone a fee to be considered, or ask a candidate to pay for training, tools or a deposit.
• You are responsible for your own obligations as an employer, including minimum wages, provident fund and insurance where they apply.
• Hiring a worker is a deal. You send a final offer - daily wage, site, start date and days. When the worker accepts it in their app, the deal is locked and given a code. You see the worker's phone number, and the UPI ID or bank account they gave for wages, only from then on, and only to pay them and work with them.
• You pay the wage straight to the worker, in full, by UPI, bank transfer or cash, and record each payment in Orbit Shram Shakti, Orbit Pravin and Orbit Sahyog against the deal code. We never hold the wage, and nothing is taken out of it. The worker confirms whether it came.
• Days the worker works after the deal's last day are added to the same deal. You confirm or dispute each within 48 hours; a day you do not answer is counted.
• Not going around the deal. If, within 12 months of first meeting a worker through Orbit Shram Shakti, Orbit Pravin and Orbit Sahyog (an application, an invitation or an offer), you engage that worker for work outside a deal on Orbit Shram Shakti, Orbit Pravin and Orbit Sahyog, the platform charge is payable on the wages paid for that work as if it had been a deal. This binds the employer only. It never limits where a worker may work, and no worker is ever charged.

What is not allowed

• Registering on somebody else's behalf, or with somebody else's identity documents.
• Asking any candidate for money in exchange for work.
• Collecting profiles in bulk, scraping, or automating access.
• Posting anything unlawful, abusive, or discriminatory on a ground protected by Indian law.
• Interfering with the service, probing it, or working around a limit placed on your account.

Charges

Registering and looking for work are free. Workers pay nothing to accept a deal, and nothing is ever deducted from their wages. No money is ever charged from a worker. A worker's joining bonus, and the bonus earned for work days recorded through the app, is a credit in the worker's wallet: it is not cash and cannot be withdrawn or transferred. On every job a worker gets through Orbit Shram Shakti, Orbit Pravin and Orbit Sahyog, a platform charge and a service charge (the amounts are shown in the worker's wallet: today Rs 100, and five days of that job's daily wage) are adjusted only from this bonus. Whatever the bonus cannot cover is waived; the worker never pays it, nothing is deducted from a wage, and no amount is ever owed. The bonus cannot be claimed as money, withdrawn, cashed or transferred to the worker or anyone else by any mode. Employers pay a platform charge on each locked deal: a percentage of the deal value (daily wage times days), but never on more than one month (30 days) of wages per deal; shown before the offer is sent, due when the deal locks, and on each extra day added until the deal reaches 30 charged days. It is billed on a monthly tax invoice listing every deal code, with GST. Other paid features show the price and what it covers before you pay. See Payments and refunds.

Ending it

You may stop using Orbit Shram Shakti, Orbit Pravin and Orbit Sahyog at any time and ask us to delete your account - see Privacy. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, and will say why unless we are prevented from doing so.

What we do not promise

We do not promise that you will find work or find a candidate. We do not verify every claim a member makes; where we have checked something - an Aadhaar-verified name, a PAN, a GSTIN - we say so on the profile, and where we have not, we do not. Satisfy yourself about anyone you deal with.

The service is provided as it stands. We do not exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death, personal injury or fraud caused by us. Subject to that, our liability to you for anything arising out of the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Gurugram, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction.

Changes

If we change these terms we will update this page and the date at the top. If the change matters to you we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
